Nicholas John Casciano is the founder, band leader and driving force behind The Heartbeats, one of the Philadelphia region’s most respected and sought-after live entertainment bands. Founded by Nick in 1990, The Heartbeats have spent more than three decades building a reputation for delivering high-energy, world-class entertainment for weddings, corporate events, casinos, private celebrations and major public events.

A lifelong musician and accomplished multi-instrumentalist, Nick brings more than 40 years of professional musical experience to every performance. As a performer, he contributes lead vocals, guitar, percussion and harmonica, but his role with The Heartbeats extends far beyond the stage. He is responsible for creating the band's musical vision, maintaining its signature sound and energy, and ensuring that every event receives the level of professionalism and attention to detail that clients have come to expect.

Nick's philosophy is simple: the entertainment should be the centerpiece of the celebration. His goal is not simply to have a band perform at an event, but to create an experience that people remember long after the last song is played. Under his leadership, The Heartbeats have developed a unique ability to read a crowd, move seamlessly between generations and musical styles, and keep the dance floor energized throughout the night.

From classic standards and Motown to rock, disco, R&B, country and today's biggest hits, Nick has built The Heartbeats around versatility. The current Heartbeats lineup features an extensive rhythm and horn section along with multiple male and female lead vocalists, giving the band the ability to cover virtually every musical era and style.
